Just a Trim

I have been putting this off for awhile now.  Jax's hair has been getting really long in front and is getting into his eyes.  I just know that once baby boys get their hair cut for the first time, they seem to transform into big boys.  Let's just be honest, this mama isn't ready for that.  So when I decided a little trim was needed I was so glad to have our cousin Julie come to cut his hair because I knew we would be in great hands.  While I usually go to her salon to get my haircut, we were lucky that she would make a house call for Jax.  He did great for her (with the bribe of a few blueberries) and sat still the entire time. 

She only took a little from the top and by his ears.  His hair is starting to curl in the back and I couldn't bring myself to have it cut.  Poor kid might end up with a mullet if I keep this up, but that is ok.
