Birthday Celebrations

Jax and I got to spend a wonderful day in E-town celebrating two pretty cool birthdays.  First Jax and I celebrated my Grandmother Gey who turned 86 today.  Her birthday was Jax's actual due date.  I think Jax knew that she is such a special lady that she deserves her own day which he why he decided to arrive late. :)

We then went to celebrate the first birthday of Miss Ella Kate who will turn 1 the day after Jax. Ella Kate is the daughter of a dear friend of mine from high school.  Jax had so much fun and was happy during the entire party even though it didn't start until close to his bed time!  Such a party animal.  It has me really excited for Jax's birthday party coming up.  Also, I have never seen a baby enjoy cake as much as her! :)
