Jax is even more alert than his last trip over a month ago. He was very interested in looking out the windows on the plane.
After we arrived in Florida, we just spent the rest of the day relaxing and getting set up for the rest of the week at our beach house by making runs to target and Publix for diapers, food, etc. We ended with a nice dinner before heading home early to get Jax to sleep. I'm not sure if it was the Florida weather or just being exhausted from traveling, but Jax slept for 6 1/2 hours before waking up for his first overnight feeding. It has been over a month since he has given me that long of a stretch and I loved it.
This morning we woke up and headed to the beach. Seista Key's beaches have been voted #1 in America and they are #1 for a reason. The sand is soft, white and just gorgeous. I loved taking Jax to the beach I have visited so many times before. He seemed to love the beach.
We brought his rubber ducky tub to the beach to give him something to sit in. We later filled it up with ocean water but the water was not as warm as the baths he is used to and he wasn't a fan of the colder water.
A few minutes after this picture Jax leaned over the side and did a face plant into the sand before I could catch him. He wasn't as upset by the sand as he was the wipes I used to get the sand off his face. A rough start to the day but luckily we recovered quickly!

| Hanging out in the shade, it was a very sunny day! |
After Jax went to sleep I put him on the blanket and he took a nap. There was a nice breeze and a baby sleeping next to me. Life was just perfect. I had been looking forward to these relaxing days at the beach all month and they did not disappoint.
Also, if you look to the top of the picture you will see my parents out in the ocean. It wasn't crowded at all.
Such a sweet baby.
After Jax's nap he was in a great mood and and was ready to play!
Love those little baby feet. :)
There was a strong wind at times and I think these pictures are hilarious.
Luckily there were some toys at the beach house so we didn't have to pack our own,
I was bringing enough luggage already!
Check out this cool dude in his shades!
On our way out we had to get pictures by the Siesta Beach signs.
The ride back to the house was a whole 2 minutes.
By the time we got back home, this is what Jax looked like.
We went out to eat again tonight. Since Jax goes to bed around 6:30-7, that means dinner is around 5 if we want to go out. My parents didn't mind, but we did notice that it meant there was a slightly older dinner crowd as you can see in this next picture.
Finally we headed to this great frozen yogurt place before heading home. Jax was reaching for my yogurt the entire time. I think he is ready to start solids so we will probably be starting them soon after we get back home.
Jax is in bed and we are all about to follow him. Tomorrow we get up and do it all over again. While Jax and I are sad that Jasper couldn't come with us because of his trial, I am so glad my parents decided to come down with us and make this such a great little vacation. We are having a blast.
