Five Years Ago Today

I married my best friend.

We danced and celebrated all evening long with our closest family and friends.

It was such an amazing night. It is hard to believe it has been five years since our big day. So much has happened in the last five years and we have built such a great life together. In the last five years we have graduated law school and started our legal careers, traveled, bought a house, Jasper started his own firm, and most importantly ... we started a family.



On our wedding night we had a lavish celebration. Tonight we will celebrate at home, most likely with carry out for dinner after Jax goes to sleep. We don't need the fancy outfits, the dancing or the fantastic food though to make this night special. It is special because we are even stronger as a couple than we were five years ago and I know that our marriage will continue to grow in the many years to come.
