Prayers for Kate

See this sweet little girl? Her name is Kate and she could use all the good thoughts and prayers she can get right now.

You can click on the picture to see her mom's blog for the full story. In short, her mom was part of an online group that I was a part of. Kate's parents went through a very long struggle with infertility and pregnancy loss to have this sweet little girl and she is such a miracle. A few months ago they discovered after numerous tests that Kate has a very rare type of bone marrow failure and she must undergo a complete bone marrow transplant. She is currently in the hospital and had her first surgery yesterday that has already brought about complications. This little girl, who will be turning one in less than a week, is such a fighter though and I know she and her parents will pull through this.
