Open House

Now that Miles is off of the light therapy and able to be cuddled, we are starting to have more visitors to the house.  We joked that today was "open house" because we had visitors from morning until Jax's bedtime and we loved every minute of it.  First, my dad brought Nana up.  I love that Jax has such a great relationship with his great grandmothers.  When she entered the room he yelled "Nana!"  So cute.

Mr. Miles may have stolen the show though.  He was his typical mellow self and let Nana have lots and lots of snuggle time.

I think Miles' mellow nature was even rubbing off on Jax!

Well, maybe not.  Jax soon decided that it was time for Papa Bear to stop looking at the cute baby and play with him!

Four Generations!

My dad did get some Miles time when Nana would finally give him up.

This is the picture of one TIRED toddler who was ready for a nap before accepting any more visitors.  It is hard work being the big brother!

After Jax's nap the next wave of visitors came as my Aunt and Uncle brought Gey over to see her newest great grandson.

You know Jax couldn't let that baby get all the attention.  He had to be in the middle of all the action!

Jax was pretty excited his Gey was over to play.

He also liked the fact that he apparently got presents for being such a great big  brother.

The final wave of visitors was my brother Tyler and his girlfriend Kelsey.  I enjoy watching the look of apprehension mixed with terror that is in my brother's eyes as he tries to hold a baby.  It is the same look Jasper had until Jax was born.  Tyler looked like he was afraid to move while holding him.

He eventually got the hang of it though and looked a little more comfortable.

It turns out that Jax is now the perfect age for Tyler.  I think Jax enjoyed having someone take him down to the playroom to play while everyone else was with the baby.

Mr. Miles was pretty exhausted from playing host all day.  It is hard work being so cute!
