Our Work Week

I will be honest, since Jax was born and I stopped going into an office, the week days and weekends seem to blur together a little.  This mom thing is the toughest job I have ever had, though also the job with by far the best perks!  I no longer have the distinction between the "work week" and weekends because I am a mom 24/7.  However as it is Friday night (and yes I am in my pjs at 7:30) I thought I would share some of the pictures I took during my "work week" this week.     

Before Jax was born I worked downtown.  One thing I loved about being downtown was being able to meet up with friends that worked downtown for lunch.  One friend I used to be able to see regularly was Kaelin.  Since Jax was born we have been trying to make plans to meet up but something always got in the way.  We finally got together Monday for a LONG overdue lunch.

 

Since we were downtown, we also stopped by to see Jasper and say hello. 

Jax loves computers and is obsessed with the keyboard, so he felt right at home in Jasper's office.

 

Tuesday was a day filled with errands for Jax and I.  Oh, and lots of play time as well.  Mikey and Meme also got back from their vacation on Tuesday and got to play with Jax before his bedtime.  After he went to sleep I took a little momma time for myself and went to get a massage.  It was amazing.

That night was a UK game that was suppose to start at 9 but didn't end up starting until much later.  It was way past both of our bedtimes, but I took one for the team and stayed up to watch the game while Jax kept with his stellar sleep schedule.  He was cheering on the Cats in his dreams though and wore his blue and white pjs to prove it. 

While Jax's first tooth started coming in a week or so ago, it is now fully in and this week I got bit for the first time and it hurt!  I then looked at my hand and saw one little tooth mark and couldn't help but think it was adorable.  When I try to take a picture of Jax's tooth all I get is this. 

On Wednesday we had our realtor come look at our house because we are actually considering moving next year.  I think we might have officially lost our minds because the thought of listing our house with a baby and two dogs makes me break out in hives.   That  night Mikey came back over with Jax's Uncle Kevin and Megan.  The "excuse" was to help Jasper lower the crib, but I think it was mostly to hang out.  Is there ever any doubt Jax gets enough attention?  Counting me he had 5 adults sitting around playing with him and he was loving every minute of it. He is also SO close to crawling.  I don't know how long he will stay in this "almost crawling" phase but I am really afraid to leave the room and miss it!

Thursday was photo shoot day just  because the camera was close and he looked cute.  Do I ever need a reason?  Here are my favorite shots:

To end the week, we headed out in the cold to stop by my old office and then head to the mall.  Jax looked so cute all bundled up before heading out.  

 

So that was our week.  Nothing big, but lots of fun.  By far the best work I have ever had.  :)
