Out With The Old...

So it has been quiet on here for a few days and there is a very good reason, I lost my camera!  You know, the really nice one we just purchased before Jax was born.  We were at the zoo on Tuesday with Megan and I took a picture of Megan and Jax right before we left while we were sitting on a bench.  By the time I got home I realized the camera was not in my car.  I know I left it on that bench.  I called back and no one turned it in to lost and found, I left my name and number anyway.  I just feel sick over losing it but thank goodness I download pictures every night so the only ones lost were from that day, no biggie though there was some fantastic pictures of Megan with the animals that are now forever lost. :)

Since we had a few events this weekend that I will post about soon, my mom was nice enough to loan us her camera so I could still take pictures.  When I was looking at the pictures on her camera I found some great ones from when my brother got sworn in at the Kentucky Supreme Court that I wanted to share.

So we now have another lawyer in the family, because you can never have too many.  :)  Congrats Tyler!

We couldn't wait very long before getting a new camera,  I just take way too many pictures and since it was inevitable that we would be buying a new one, we just went ahead and got one this weekend.  It is an upgrade form our old one because they discontinued that one.  Today I got it out while Uncle Kevin was here to play with Jax, and I really like it.  :)

This picture captures Jax's latest phase, major attachment to me.  If I leave the room, even if he is with someone he knows, he does this ...

We are working on it.  From what I hear, it is just something babies go through and eventually outgrow.

But look at this face.  Who wouldn't want to spend every moment with him?

Also apparently my child learned yoga recently.  Certainly wasn't from me.
Maybe I should sign up for those baby and me yoga classes.

The Cobra position

The Plank position

Not bad.

So now I am off to check out all the things that this new camera does, and also add it to our home insurance in case this happens again!
