Now that the hustle and bustle of Christmas is subsiding, Jax is starting to realize and appreciate all the great toys he received. We have spent much of today playing with all these new things and having a great time.
He actually was doing the "vroom vroom" sound with this one. So precious.
Jax has really been into the Little People since I got him the nativity scene. Well YaYa and Papa Bear got him the Little People Zoo for Christmas and he is just as obsessed with it. The nativity scene characters might also make an appearance at the zoo, you know the zoo keeper and Joseph were tight.
I saw him get all the people and animals out and put them together on the blanket and then run and start putting his play food on the blanket as well. he kept saying something and I couldn't figure out what he was saying at first but then it dawned on me that he was saying "eat, eat!" He was feeding them! I think this is his first stab at imaginative play and I love it.
Miles liked it too!
Later Jax got to play with even more toys that we had set up upstairs.
He is even playing with a few toys presents that weren't for him.
Like things for his brother...
and his dad.
Jax might be in for a rude awakening next year when his brother isn't as willing to share his presents, but for this year everything appears to be fair game to be played with.
However it doesn't matter how many new toys you get,
nothing can compare to a big brown box.
