Game Day

Today was a day Jasper has waited a very long time for.  Today was Jax's first UL game!  For years Jasper and I have been to almost every home game and seen all those cute kids at the games (you know that they show on the jumbo screen during every break).  We couldn't wait to bring Jax and since today was the first midday game, we brought the little man along.  The game was at 4 and Jax now has a nap at 3:30.  Since we just developed a great sleeping routine (thanks again Dr. Ferber!) I was not about to mess with it.  Jasper went to the game after working some at his office and after Jax's nap, we met him there for the second half.

I love this picture because you can see how tired he was before his nap.  This is the onesie he wore to the game (with pants of course!).  Jasper actually had it made.  It has the logo for a UL fan blog called Card Chronicle and Jasper is a contributing author on that blog.  The saying is apparently an inside joke on the blog, so I just didn't even ask. 

Jax did great with all the noise and activity.  He was happy as could be the entire time.  We took this picture after the game was over.  Not our best family picture, but it will do. 

 Not sure how many more games Jax will make it to this season as most are night games after his bedtime.  I have no doubt though that there will be many  more games in seasons to come.
