D Day

The day has come that I have been both ridiculously excited about and dreading at the same time.  D Day AKA Demolition day.  We are having our master bathroom completely gutted and redone. Here is what was done on Day 1!

Our contractor estimated 6-8 weeks to finish this project.  I wanted to ask why they can build an entire home in 1 week on Extreme Makeover while a bathroom here would take that long, but I didn't think he would appreciate the question.  :)  I am dreading the idea of living with a construction zone right next to our bedroom, but know that in the end we will be happy that we went ahead with this project.  Let the fun begin!
