The is a very popular saying that when you have more kids you are switching to zone defense from man-to-man. Well during the day when I am alone with the kids I am very much in a zone defense. For example, this afternoon while I am looking at this sweet little face ...
Jax discovered that pen colors on skin.
Later on I was cleaning the kitchen when I noticed that Jax was being uncommonly quiet. I look around to find that he has escaped upstairs without me and was jumping on the bed. Good times.
Our Handyman Jeremy came over in the afternoon and Jax found a new favorite toy, power tools! He certainly does not get that interest from his father.
I will take credit for his stubborn side though. Jeremy left the paint can in the kitchen and Jax insisted on carrying it to the stairs. Every time I tried to pick it up Jax would shout "I got it!"
I also find myself outnumbered many times during meals.
One would think that I could tend to an infant while my toddler ate his dinner.
That would be wrong.
Thank goodness that this little one understands that his mommy only has two hands and needs his cooperation.
I think I might be in trouble once Miles gets older and can get into stuff like his brother.
