Ringing In the New Year

Well 2011 has ended and what a year it was.  I have really never been that sentimental about New Years.  I mean, the next day is a day like any other and all it ever really meant was that it would take me a month to get the year right whenever I listed the date.  This year was different though as 2011 was Jax's birth year.  This year has been the best of my life.  All evening as Jasper and I waited for the ball to drop, I thought about everything that has happened this year.  I even went back and looked at the past entries on this blog, (all 134 of them).  There were things on this blog I had already forgotten, how can that happen?  As bittersweet as it is for this year to be over, I am excited for the new year to come.  This is because as wonderful as this past year has been, and it has been WONDERFUL, I know 2012 will be even better.  That makes me smile.
